ED Medication Tracker

How can we help?

Practical answers for your journal, your Watch and your account purchases.

Contact app support

computerhelperstl@gmail.com

Tell us the app version, iOS/watchOS version, what you tapped and what happened. Please leave out medication details, health readings, unredacted health screenshots, passwords and payment-card information.

Apple Watch & readings

My Watch is on, but the app says it is unavailable.

Being worn or paired does not mean the Watch app is reachable at that moment. Keep the devices nearby, unlock your Watch, open ED Medication Tracker on the Watch, then check its status on the iPhone. If the status remains unavailable, do not assume the iPhone has a live reading.

How do I stop a Watch session?

Use the finish/stop control in the app. A remote request is pending until the Watch confirms it. If the phone cannot communicate with the Watch, open the Watch app and use its own stop control. Reconnect the devices to receive the final state. Do not treat closing the iPhone screen as confirmation that Watch collection ended.

Do I have to keep touching the Watch screen?

Do not keep tapping just to make readings appear live. Check the collection state and reading timestamps. A sleeping display, an unavailable connection and a stopped session are different states. If readings stop updating, open the Watch app and verify its status before relying on the iPhone display.

Is the heart-rate graph a live ECG?

No. The heart-rate graph plots recorded beats-per-minute samples over time. It is not an electrical waveform or a rhythm diagnosis. The separate saved-ECG feature shows actual recordings already stored in Apple Health, with permission; those recordings are not live.

Why are the baseline or recovery fields unavailable?

A session may not contain enough eligible readings in the relevant phase. The app leaves unavailable values blank instead of inventing them. Missing values or missing symptom entries are not an indication of medical safety.

Journal & privacy

Where is my journal stored?

In the app’s protected local storage. There is no app-operated journal account, CloudKit sync or cloud restore. Local journal files are excluded from automatic device backup. Apple Health and Apple purchase records are separate.

Can I restore a deleted journal from a report?

No. JSON and PDF exports are shareable reports, not a restorable backup. Restoring purchases restores eligible Pro access, not journal records. Review deletion carefully before confirming it.

How do I delete my data?

Use the app’s record-deletion controls or Settings → Delete All App Data. If Watch deletion is pending, reconnect the devices and follow the app’s status. This does not erase copies already shared, Apple Health records or Apple purchase records, and it does not cancel subscriptions.

Does Quick Capture send my note or label photo to AI?

Quick Capture uses on-device processing for supported intelligence, dictation and label text recognition. It does not fall back to a third-party AI or transcription server. Availability varies by device and language. Always review the draft; recognition and generated fields can be wrong.

Purchases

How do I restore Pro access?

Use Restore Purchases in the app while signed into the Apple Account used for the eligible purchase. If Apple confirms the purchase but access remains unavailable, contact support with the product name and app version, without sending your password or payment-card details.

How do I cancel a subscription or request a refund?

Manage subscriptions through your Apple Account. See Apple’s cancellation instructions. Apple also handles purchase problems and refund requests. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. A one-time Lifetime purchase has no recurring subscription to cancel.

I am testing in TestFlight. Will I be charged?

TestFlight in-app purchases use Apple’s test environment rather than a production charge. Check that Apple’s purchase sheet identifies the testing environment before confirming. Test purchases do not establish ownership of a paid App Store purchase. Include the environment name when reporting a test-purchase issue.

Medical questions

App support cannot assess symptoms, medication safety, dose timing or ECG results. Contact your clinician for those questions. If you believe there is an emergency, contact local emergency services; do not wait for a support reply.
